Current NSW Band Championship list piece for Open C grade. Former test piece for the 2017 Championships - Junior B Grade. 

This major work clocks in at 7.25. The opening fanfare is followed with fast syncopated melodic fragments that lead to the main tune. Then a slow lyrical section with flute and oboe solos, that returns later as a chorale. Every section is featured and challenged so it's a fantastic choice to show off your senior high school or community band. Commissioned by Knox Grammar School (directed by James Brice) in 2014.
