Very proud to announce a new piece - 'Swagman, Convicts, Bushranger'. Grade 2.5 Four lesser known Australian folk songs. Commissioned by Warrawee Public School. Will be available at ANBOC from Friday October 2.
ANBOC 2024 (Australian National Band and Orchestra Conference)
It was great to meet and chat with so many conductors and composers from around Australia at ANBOC 2024 in Melbourne over the past few days. I was very privileged to have 'Sail By The Stars' performed in concert by the Healesville High School Band. It was great to spend a few minutes with the band before the performance and conduct a run-through. They did a fantastic job! Thank you to their director Amanda Morrison! 2023 Australian National Band Championships
I was very privileged to have my Horn Sonata in G Minor chosen as the set piece for the Open French Horn Solo event at the 2023 Australian National Band Championships. Thank you to the music selection committee! I heard two fine performances. Haven't heard a full performance of this piece in years! As for playing, the North West Wind Ensemble where I play 3rd horn came 1st in Open A Grade Concert! Thanks to our director James Brice.
