This piece sounds a little different to others in the horn repertoire. I've used elements of more popular styles and combined them with some that are more traditional. Movement 2 is a Ballad with a dash of jazz in the harmony, the 3rd is more modern take on the traditional 'hunting horn' style. Check out the recordings - please note that I recently changed the 1st movement to the 3rd movement. Sorry if it's confusing, but it still says 1st movement on youtube. This has been a popular choice for HSC music students. Contact me if you would like some options on cutting back the finale to under 5mins.
